Landing 747 at Twente Airport featured in Up in the Sky news review 2017!

Meanwhile, KLM is also flying fewer and fewer Boeing 747s. The airline continued the phase-out of the Jumbo jet last year. By the end of 2020, all aircraft should be replaced by new 777s, 787s and probably A350s. Four 747s left the KLM fleet this year. The PH-BFR was flown to Twente for disassembly, the other aircraft flew to graveyards abroad.

At other airlines, too, the 747 is slowly but surely disappearing. United and Delta said goodbye to the type at the end of this year.
