Existing buildings

Technology Base has several existing buildings with a total GFA of approximately 24,000 m2. The three largest buildings are hangars with a total GFA of 11,500 m2 and there are 13 former f16 shelters, which have been or will soon be transformed into permanent, inspiring accommodation for innovative companies.

The shelters have all been leased and only the hangars still have space for temporary rental of office space and possibly storage.

Temporary rental office space

At Twente Airport, it is possible to temporarily rent office space in one of the hangars for employees who maintain the parked aircraft, for example. The hangar is accessible via the restricted area of Technology Base, but also has flexible access to Twente Airport, so that you can easily (in consultation with the port authority, of course) get to and from the parked aircraft for maintenance.

Technology Base and Twente Airport offer space for business activity in the field of new materials and innovative production technologies and bring together companies in the field of materials, pre-production and prototyping. Chain cooperation is central to the companies located on the site.
