Pilot talk podcast Twente Airport and the future

In this episode, the men from Pilotspraat are in the east of the country. They speak with Jan Schuring, director of Twente Airport. Twente Air Base used to be a busy place especially with a lot of military air traffic. Unfortunately, after the departure of the last F16s it has become quite quiet, but this is slowly changing.

Nowadays our airport is increasingly (and fortunately with such a beautiful long runway of 3km) characterized by the focus on future-oriented flying, i.e. electric and hydrogen-based! In addition, Jan Schuring talks with great enthusiasm about the development of the airport area (Technology Base) and which markets we want to tap into, such as business aviation. A bright future shines in Twente! Another super interesting episode so turn it on soon, because you will hear it in ... Pilots talk!
