people@places opens unique venue for meeting & events and flex working at Technology Base

The former shelter B535 at Technology Base is being converted into a unique meeting, event and office location. Where the shelter previously served as housing for an F16, it is now fully adapted to modern times and offers facilities for board meetings, training sessions, events (up to 100 people) and office and flex work location.

Located on one of the four Innovative hotspots of Twente in Shelter B535, people@places Enschede Technology Base is a unique location for meetings, events and to work a day undisturbed. Technology Base is located on the former military airbase with a green and rugged terrain and is pre-eminently the testing ground for companies looking to innovate.

people@places Enschede Technology Base is located in the green and is easily accessible by car at a short distance from Enschede, Hengelo, Oldenzaal, Almelo and the German border. The location can be reached via the A1 freeway which connects Amsterdam with Berlin. The location can also be reached by Air Taxi, charter or private jet. How unique a location must be!

Meeting & Events

Driving into the parking lot you are immediately impressed by the shelter, an imposing concrete building with modern glass facade. The huge steel doors are still sunk into the concrete floor. This was formerly used to protect the F16s from bombings. The old shelter elements are a nice contrast to the modern interior and green surroundings.

Shelter B535 offers wonderful facilities such as a chic boardroom with panoramic views over the rough and green terrain, several meeting rooms, (flex) offices, a training room for training and courses and a fantastic event room for events for up to 100 people. Organizing a team day or a unique company outing? That too is possible. End the day with a barbecue in the outdoor area or just an atmospheric networking drink. The catering staff will be happy to assist you!

Flexworking

Rent a private office with all the conveniences by the hour, part of the day or the day, without being tied to an expensive contract. Gone are the days when flexible working meant sitting on a square meter in a noisy room. The need for flex spaces is not only increasing but has also changed in recent years. The location at Technology Base in Enschede reflects the new way of flex-working.
